At GSA 2019 in Phoenix, Riley Rohrer, who graduated in Spring, won the Best Student Talk Award in the Geochronology Division with her presentation entitled "using multiple geochronometers to better constrain geologic events in central Himalayan granites" (abstract). Riley worked with doctoral student Alex Johnson in Professor Cottle's group.
