Professor Emeritus Art Sylvester has been awarded the GSA's Structure and Tectonics Division's Career Contribution Award! Past recipients of this award include several other UCSB professors as well: Brad Hacker (2021), Tanya Atwater (2015), and John Crowell (1992).
The award will be given at the Cordilleran Section Meeting in Reno, NV, May 17-19th, where there will be several sessions in Art's honor -- see below.
