John Cottle awarded tenure

It is with great pleasure that we announce that Prof. John Cottle has been awarded tenure here at UCSB. John's research interests focus on large-scale mountain building processes. He is actively purusing NSF-funded research projects in Antarctica, the HImalaya and southern California. Congratulations, John!
