Sophie Briggs receives AGU's Outstanding Student Paper Award for Volcanology, Geochemistry, and Petrology

The AGU has recognized UCSB Earth Science graduate student Sophie Briggs with its Outstanding Student Paper Award in Volcanology, Geochemistry, and Petrology.  Sophie's paper was entitled: The P-T history of the Alpine Schist, New Zealand: Constraining tectonic processes during the late stages of Gondwana breakup.
